Snaps from Indonesia

Some plant photos from in Central Indonesia. My work takes me to really unique and beautiful places that some people might never see and I am grateful for that.

For example, this was my view everyday when we go to "work". From our camp, we have to ride a mobile (like a mini jeep), then park it in the house of our site caretaker and walk for about 20-30 mins on the riverside. Photo above is my favorite view of that work (minus the garbage!).

Sometimes we get some break, and during Christmas we got to visit the beautiful temple of Prambanan. Will post some greens and plants only as this blog is all about ~plants~ hehe.

This is Borobodur, I think.

Plenty of Durian on the streets of Yogyakarta.

Durian with ice and milk (susu)

And here is one of the strangest thing I experienced. We LITERALLY ATE ON THE SIDEWALK. Removed our shoes, sat on a mat, and ate on the side walk. Which is a normal thing in Indonesia, I suppose. Taking street food to a whole new level! Would was great.

View on a hilltop restaurant to visit another site in eastern Java.

Beautiful Javanese houses in the middle of the jungle. <3
