So I had this little experiment in which I tried to grow mint cuttings using water. Everyday seems to be a miracle as little by little, baby roots keep sprouting on the stem! I'm a so happy as this is my first try to successfully grow a plant. I tried years ago to grow basil from cuttings but it died. This one, I replace the water every 2-3 days to keep it clean. It also stands on daylight as it is on my kitchen window sill. I try to make sure that there are leaves above the water too (leaves submerged eventually died).
After a while, I have repotted them and gave it to a friend. Will try to propagate my basil next! (and hello to my rosemary having a cameo)
