I brought my fascination with plants even while I was studying in Europe. I bought several poinsettias to display on my bedroom window so that I can still feel Christmas-y even if I am alone. Some of my plants were gifts from friends, and I bought a couple too. Poinsettias are dear to me, as growing up, I remember having poinsettias in our old house in Makati, and every November the leaves turn red.
